Authorities are on the lookout for suspects connected to an armed robbery that occurred in Southeast D.C. The incident unfolded yesterday morning when individuals armed with handguns approached a victim at the intersection of 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department's official news release.
According to the details provided by the police, the robbery occurred around 6:19 a.m. The suspects, after confronting the victim with weapons, fled the scene in the awaiting vehicle - details of which are now being circulated by authorities. Surveillance footage managed to capture both the suspects and their vehicle.
The MPD has turned to the community for assistance, urging anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects or the vehicle to step forward.
