With a chance of flurries ceasing early in the morning, the city is expected to experience a shift from cloudy skies to a mostly sunny afternoon, with the mercury striving to hit a high near 36 degrees, according to the latest updates from the National Weather Service.
The wind, not wanting to be left unnoticed, will remind us of its presence with a northwest gust reaching up to 30 mph that might just make you hold onto your hat, while wind chill readings could drop temperatures to a deceptive 19°F. A contentious battle between the seasons is evident as tonight's temperature will lower to around 23 with calmer winds eventually yielding to a southern direction after the strike of midnight, as reported by the National Weather Service.
On Friday, Milwaukee will have a partly sunny day with a high around 43°F. Winds from the south at 10 to 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph, will make it feel brisk. Friday night, there’s a slight chance of snow before 9 p.m., followed by a mix of rain and snow from 9 p.m. to midnight. After midnight, there’s a chance of snow again, as per the National Weather Service.
This weekend, Milwaukee will experience much colder temperatures. Saturday will see the temperature drop to around 17°F by the afternoon, with strong northwest winds throughout the day. On Sunday, temperatures will only reach a high of 6°F, with partly cloudy skies and winds at 10 to 15 mph. Sunday night will get even colder, with a low around -8°F, as stated by the National Weather Service.
