A gas station owner in Minneapolis helped thwart a burglary at his business by tapping into his security cameras from afar and catching the culprit in the act. According to a recent social media post from the Minneapolis Police Department, the owner was quick to dial 911 and provide the police with live footage, enabling a swift response.
Thanks to the heads-up, Minneapolis police officers were able to devise a strategy to apprehend the suspect. The police department shared, "Our officers coordinated a solid plan, and the suspect was safely called out and arrested without incident."
"We’re proud of the teamwork between our community and officers that helped resolve this quickly and safely!" the Minneapolis Police said. They also reinforced the 'see something, say something' ethos that proved instrumental in this case.
