A 10-year-old boy who was previously reported missing from the Parkway Apartments in Atascocita has been found safe, as confirmed by the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office. The child was last observed yesterday around 6 p.m. at the residential complex located at 16848 West Lake Houston Pkwy.
Following hours of search efforts, the young boy was located later that same evening. The constable's office, according to KHOU, stated, "He was found safe Tuesday night." In the immediate outset of the incident, officers were searching exhaustively, rallying resources to ensure his swift return.
Additional details surrounding the circumstances of the boy's disappearance and how he was found have not been released. The community, worried during the wait, breathed a collective sigh of relief when they heard he was safe.
For privacy reasons and due to the boy's status as a minor, both news sources, including Click2Houston, have since removed the child's name and image from their reporting. This decision follows the protocol of maintaining the privacy of minors, especially in sensitive cases involving their safety. Protecting the child's identity remains a top priority, ensuring that, after being found safe, their well-being continues to be safeguarded.
