A sense of relief washed over the Del City community, as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol canceled the Kasey Alert for 19-year-old Isabell Jean Marmolejo. The young woman with developmental issues who was reported missing as of Wednesday, has been located and is now considered safe. Earlier, authorities had been requesting public assistance in the search for Marmolejo, who was described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing 250 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, reported KOCO News.
Marmolejo, who was last seen on foot in Del City without her essential medication, may have become violent as a side effect of her condition. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol had notified the public to not approach her if seen, and instead call 911 immediately, KFOR News noted.
The initial issuance of the Kasey Alert brought attention to the special circumstances surrounding Marmolejo's disappearance, including her developmental delays.
