
A man identified as Jesse William Wykel, 32, has been taken into custody in Moreno Valley after authorities say he made criminal threats against local city officials and Riverside Sheriff's personnel. The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Investigation Bureau was alerted to the threats on Tuesday, which were detailed and aimed personally at named politicians and officers.
Local investigators tracked down Wykel the same day and found him at a home on Bluntleaf Court. He was arrested at 4:00 pm and transported to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station without any reported issues. According to a statement made by the Riverside Sheriff's Office, "Wykel was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, where he was interviewed." His arrest culminated in charges for threatening a public official and threatening an executive officer. The bail for Wykel was set at an staggering $1,000,000.
