The incident took place in the 400 block of I Street, Northwest, and MPD has asked for assistance in locating the suspects involved.
According to a press release published by the MPD, the incident unfolded at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, when two suspects confronted a victim. The suspects, having demanded the victim's money, exerted force that led to one of them reaching into the victim's pocket to pilfer their money before both fled the scene.
Now, authorities seek any information connected to the two suspects, emphasizing that individuals with knowledge of the incident should take no action themselves but rather contact the police. The victim, in speaking of the ordeal, was relatively unharmed in the incident, reported the robbery shortly after the suspects, having taken their money, made their escape.
