
Firefighters responded to a house fire on the 3600 block of NW 163rd Terrace in Bethany after receiving multiple 911 calls around 5:05 p.m. The initial response was increased to ensure sufficient resources to combat the fire, according to the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.
Firefighters arrived and immediately began searching the house. The search was challenging due to a large amount of personal belongings inside. As a precaution, nearby homes were evacuated. The fire was significant, as indicated by the thick black smoke, as reported by the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.
