
A shooting in Nashville's Glencliff area has left one person with critical injuries. FOX 17 reports that the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) were dispatched to an apartment complex on Wallace Road, near TriStar Southern Medical Center last night. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim in critical but stable condition.
The shooting, which occurred around 7 p.m. at 370 Wallace Road, has prompted an intensive investigation. The victim was quickly taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, as detailed by WSMV. With victim now stable, the authorities are piecing together the events of the evening, though no suspect information has been released to the public as yet.
Adding to the complexity of the case, a suspect described as a male wearing red shorts with black pants underneath was seen fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting. According to WKRN, a K9 unit was deployed in an attempt to track down the man, yet as of the latest updates, he remains at large. To date, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, with more details expected to emerge as the MNPD continues their inquiries.
