Hilliard's Patch Plaza welcomed a new addition to its dining lineup with the opening of Smoked Lick BBQ on Cosgray Road on January 16. This fledgling joint caters to BBQ aficionados, offering a mix of Texas- and Memphis-style smoked delights. While sit-down options are available, this eatery is making a name for itself primarily with its BBQ catering and delivery services, ready to satiate any hunger pang or party.
"A lot of our staff of around 20 employees live in or close to Hilliard so this was the perfect spot to open our business," Kara Snyder, Smoked Lick BBQ's General Manager, explained the locale choice for their establishment. According to an official statement by the City of Hilliard, she also mentioned the ambition to burgeon across Central Ohio in the coming times. With a focus on community ties, the team behind Smoked Lick is not just about feeding folks but fostering local relationships.
Worrying is unnecessary if you don't want to leave home. Smoked Lick BBQ has partnered with popular food delivery services like Grubhub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. Patrons can order large-scale catering or individual meals through these platforms or directly via the restaurant's website, ensuring that a smoky feast is just a few clicks away.
Next-door neighbors, The OverTime Sports Pub customers, have a unique perk. They can order from the Smoked Lick BBQ menu and pick it up at a convenient roll-up window that adjoins the two establishments. This effortless solution offers pub-goers craving some BBQ magic with their sports and suds. Indeed, the symbiotic relationship between the BBQ spot and the sports pub could spell a win-win for business and satisfaction.
