The airwaves are buzzing with more than feedback and distortion today. AltPress confirmed that industrial rock icons, Nine Inch Nails, will be embarking on their "Peel It Back Tour" this summer after a brief hiatus.
Tampa fans in particular are in for a treat, as CL Tampa revealed, the band is scheduled to perform at Amalie Arena this September.
It's been a long wait for Floridians since the band's previous visit in 2014. This tour marks their grand return to the live scene after a pause in 2022, making the upcoming Tampa concert a can't-miss event. As per WTSP, tickets for the show will go on sale at noon on January 29, just a week away. So fans should keep their browsers ready and their credit cards at hand.
Details surrounding the tour suggest a robust itinerary. After kicking things off in Dublin, Ireland, on June 15, Nine Inch Nails will thunder through Europe and the U.K., before crossing the pond to the U.S., with the first stateside show scheduled in Oakland, California on August 6. The breadth of the Peel It Back Tour embraces a wide array of venues, including the aforementioned stop at Tampa's Amalie Arena, as reported by CL Tampa.
Trent Reznor, alongside collaborator Atticus Ross, has remained prolific outside of Nine Inch Nails. Their work scoring films for directors like David Fincher has garnered critical acclaim, adding to the duo's versatile creative output. As Nine Inch Nails, they have racked up over 30 million record sales, according to WTSP. With their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, NIN's legacy has been firmly cemented in the annals of music history, undeniably influencing countless bands and artists that followed.
