North Meck Recycling is revising its weekend operations. Starting next Saturday, businesses and individual residents with non-residential loads or dump trailers will need to adjust their schedules. The North Meck Recycling and Disposal Facility announced it will no longer accept these types of waste on Saturdays due to ongoing construction at the site leading to congestion issues. Those impacted by the change are advised to plan their drop-offs for weekdays.
The alteration in the facility's operations might inconvenience some, but weekday services will continue without disruption. According to a statement on Mecklenburg County's official website, "Clients may still drop off these items at the North Meck facility Monday-Friday, or at one of the other centers."
