The suspect, whose identity remains unknown, is accused of a violent incident that occurred on Tuesday, where a male victim endured several strikes before being relieved of his personal property. The altercation took place in the area of West 49 Street and 8 Avenue.
Details of the assault were publicly disclosed in a Facebook post by the NYPD Crimestoppers. "WANTED-ROBBERY: On 1/7/2025 NYPD Midtown North Precinct in the vicinity of West 49 Street and 8 Avenue, an unknown individual struck the male victim multiple times while removing the victim's property," the post read. Along with this appeal, there came the promise of reward pegged at up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest.
