The New York Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 66-year-old man, Kim Hung Chun, who was last seen on January 1 in the vicinity of 107th Street and Atlantic Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. According to a post by NYPD Crime Stoppers on X, Chun is described as an Asian male, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing eyeglasses, a "West Virginia" jacket, dark sweatpants, and slippers.

Chun, who is non-verbal and speaks Cantonese, has been missing for more than two weeks now and concern is growing within the community and his family, who are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward, Chun's disappearance is especially troubling given his communication limitations, which may exacerbate the urgency and difficulty of locating him, as individuals with such barriers can face additional risks when they are missing.
The NYPD is asking anyone who might have seen Chun or has any information regarding his current location to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
