
The New York Police Department has issued an alert for a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape in Queens. The incident, which took place two days ago near the intersection of 31st Avenue and 94th Street, has prompted a search for the unidentified individual who allegedly attacked a 32-year-old woman.
According to the NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook page, the suspect approached the victim from behind and covered her mouth with a handkerchief. He then threatened to quickly kill her if she did not comply with his demands. The suspect pushed her to the ground and began to pull down her pants and undergarments before ultimately deciding to flee the scene.
The NYPD Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for this crime. They urge anyone with information to call the tip line at 800-577-TIPS or to submit information anonymously on their website.
