
The New York City Police Department is currently seeking information on nine suspects involved in the violent stabbing and robbery of a 17-year-old boy in the Parkchester area which occurred on Sunday night. The suspects are alleged to have assaulted the young man, inflicting multiple stab wounds on his body before proceeding to rob him of his cellphone and a single shoe, the teen now hospitalized is listed in stable condition, with law enforcement urging the public for any assistance that could lead to the apprehension of the assailants, as detailed by a report from News 12 Bronx.
According to a Facebook post by NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident took place in front of 1803 Guerlain Street, where the group of unidentified individuals attacked and robbed the teenager, additionally the NYPD 43 Precinct has communicated that there's a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the resolution of this case.
Details released to the public have been sparse but the authorities are pressing for witnesses or anyone with knowledge pertaining to the case to come forward, the NYPD has provided a number to call, 800-577-TIPS, and an assurance that tips can be submitted anonymously.
