Amid the chaos and freezing cold, first responders faced tough conditions. WTAE reported a third person was found elsewhere, though their condition is unknown. About 60 firefighters battled the blaze and the harsh weather, making their job even harder.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed, underlining the tragic anonymity of loss. While the flames have been quelled, the origin of the fire remains to be determined. Officials are withholding speculative commentary until a thorough investigation can be conducted. No injuries among the firefighting team have been reported.
