
A fire erupted at a self-storage facility in Orange County last night, hospitalizing one person and damaging the property significantly. According to ClickOrlando, the blaze began shortly before 8 p.m. in the 4200 block of Orange Blossom Trail near Lee Road, and Orange County Fire Rescue teams were dispatched.
The rapid response of firefighters was crucial in tackling the flame, as crews quickly connected to nearby hydrants to battle the fire. One individual, whose identity and the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. News 6's Troy Campbell reported that firefighters successfully knocked down the fire.
Damage to the commercial building has been described as heavy, with photos illustrating the aftermath released by the fire agency. The site of the fire, situated at the intersection of North Orange Blossom Trail and Ace Road, saw a swift mobilization of fire crews who contained the flames shortly after their arrival.
