According to CBS News Pittsburgh, the blaze broke out in the 1800 block of Kimball Avenue just after 8 p.m. and required a two-alarm response from emergency crews. Firefighters rushed to the scene, where flames were reported to be visibly shooting into the air from the house.
Details on the incident reveal that the fire escalated once responders arrived at the location. "One person had to be taken to a hospital from the scene," investigators mentioned, according to WPXI.
