
In a recent update shared by the Orlando Police Department via social media, an additional arrest has been made in connection to a vehicle burglary that escalated into a deadly shooting incident late last year. The suspect, identified as Jackson Similus, born on September 1, 1998, was taken into custody and faces charges of 2nd Degree Felony Murder and Burglary of a Conveyance.
The incident occurred on December 26 at the Summergate Condominiums in Orlando. According to the Orlando Police Department, at around 5:18 a.m., authorities responded to a call regarding a shooting that happened amidst a vehicle burglary. It was there that they found Widlerson Pierre, another male suspect linked to the burglary, who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter, whose identity has not been made public, remained there until police arrived.
