As reported by Around Osceola, the child provided a detailed account of the events, revealing she had been awakened by her mother's cries for help, further recounting Devalcin's menacing words: "No one messes with me." Amid the chaos, a roommate attempted to intervene, only to be rebuffed by Devalcin.
In the wake of the violent affair, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office has issued an arrest warrant for Devalcin for first-degree murder. Devalcin, who deputies found face down and unconscious but showing signs of life, was taken to the hospital. The Sheriff's Office confirmed that lifesaving measures were undertaken upon their arrival and forceful entry into the home.
Additional details unearthed by investigators noted that the knife, covered in blood and found beside the left side of the bed where the victim lay, had been recently bought by Pierre and originated from the home’s kitchen.
