Oviedo's streets will soon be lined with celebrants as the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade sets off from Oviedo High School at 10 a.m. According to an announcement by the City of Ovideo, the parade will follow a route east on Broadway Street before turning south on Oviedo Blvd. It will culminate at Center Lake Park at 11 a.m., in conjunction with the start of Family Fun Day. Commuters should note that road closures will occur during this community event.
In preparation for the parade, traffic will be rerouted on Broadway Street from the high school to Oviedo Blvd., and Oviedo Blvd. to Center Lake Lane will be closed to vehicles.
