
The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to locate Derick Johnson, a 73-year-old man considered endangered due to a cognitive impairment. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, his wife reported Mr. Johnson missing on the last day of 2024 after he went missing from a Dollar Tree parking lot.
His wife’s account, as mentioned, indicated she left him asleep in her vehicle around midday while she quickly shopped in the store at 2910 S. 70th Street. When she returned, Mr. Johnson had disappeared. He is approximately 5’7” tall, weighing 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a brown jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and black sneakers. The Police are urging anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.
The PPD has issued a number for the Southwest Detective Division, 215-686-3183, emphasizing that callers can dial 911 with any potentially relevant information.
