A disturbing incident in Pleasant Hills has resulted in a woman being hospitalized after a stabbing occurrence earlier this morning. According to WPXI, Allegheny County Police were alerted at approximately 7:01 a.m. on the 200 block of Hillock Lane.
The responding emergency crews found the victim with multiple stab wounds. She was promptly rushed to a local hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition. An elderly suspect, a 78-year-old man, is now in custody in connection with the stabbing.
Forensic teams and detectives remained on scene, and the area around the incident was cordoned off as part of the investigation process. As law enforcement delves deeper into the case, they collaborate with the district attorney's office to ascertain the appropriate charges.
