The calm wind is expected to pick up slightly, becoming southwest at 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon today. Temperatures are to gracefully rise to a high near 50, offering some respite from the morning chill. Tonight’s forecast points to partly cloudy skies with a low around 25 and a gentle south-southwest wind moving at 3 to 5 mph.
Looking forward into the weekend, Saturday should bring partly sunny skies with highs inching upwards near 52, and light west-southwest winds hovering around 3 to 6 mph. The evening will turn mostly cloudy, though temperatures will remain moderate with lows hovering around 32, and calm winds persisting.
As the work week begins, Charlotte’s weather continues to moderately improve. Monday is slated to be mostly sunny with highs again near 52 and calm winds set to turn southwest at a speed of 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. The nighttime should remain mostly clear with a low around 34. The warming trend seems to firmly take hold by Tuesday, with sunny skies and a high near an appealing 60 degrees.
According to the NWS forecast, found on their official website, the rest of the week will maintain this pleasant pattern, with mostly sunny days, highs in the low 60s and mid 50s, and partly cloudy to clear nights with temperatures comfortably sitting in the 30s. Friday looks to close out the week with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 49.
