
The Muskegon Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public following an armed robbery at a local gas station on New Year's Eve. As reported by WZZM 13, the incident occurred early in the morning at around 6:45 a.m. when a man robbed the Admiral Gas Station located at 531 E. Laketon Avenue.
According to the Muskegon Police Department on their Facebook page, they shared a photo of the suspect and asked for help identifying him. The post reads: "The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male. The Muskegon Police Department requests that anyone with information about this incident contact the department."
The Muskegon Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them at 231-724-6750 or anonymously through the Muskegon Silent Observer at 231-722-7463. The police have not released details about what was stolen. Local businesses are encouraged to review their security measures as the investigation continues.
