HCFL Government officials have announced that a segment of Race Track Road will be out of commission this weekend for some much-needed repairs. The stretch in question, snuggled between South Mobley Road and Sri Chinmoy Street, is going to see some closure action starting at the rather specific time of 8 p.m. tomorrow.
Workers are pushing through the night to have the road back open by 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3—barring any unexpected setbacks. The goal is to minimize disruptions for commuters. To avoid construction chaos, detours are set. Public Works suggests taking South Mobley Road, Gunn Highway, and Race Track Road to bypass the work zone and stay clear of the heavy machinery.
