Changes are on the horizon with the NWS projecting a 60% chance of rain tonight, primarily after 5 am. The evening temperature is anticipated to hover around 37°F, accompanied by light southeast winds; however, the new precipitation amounts are likely to stay under a tenth of an inch. Come tomorrow, rain seems almost certain—a full 90% chance—dominating the daylight hours before tapering off by 4 pm, with the high temperature peaking near 51°F and southeast winds shifting northwest in the afternoon the new precipitation could reach between a quarter and half of an inch as per the NWS forecast.
Looking towards tomorrow night, the rain might linger before 7 pm, though there's just a 30% possibility. The night is set to experience mostly cloudy skies at first, giving way to gradual clearing with lows around 26°F. With the northwest wind at about 10 mph, wind chill values can drop as low as 20. Beyond tomorrow, a brightening sky is forecasted for Tuesday with the sun returning in full force and a high near 42°F, while the northwest wind maintains an 8 to 10 mph pace.
Clear skies will continue into Tuesday night as temperatures are expected to plunge to around 22°F. Sunny conditions will prevail through Wednesday and Thursday, with highs hovering near the 40 and 38°F marks respectively, nighttime lows will approximate 22 and 23°F—notably frosty, yet undoubtedly serene. Raleigh's weather rhythm marches on with a mostly sunny Friday, witnessing highs around 43°F, but as the week wanes, the climate tosses in a twist of unpredictability with a 40% chance of rain and snow come Friday night and a low near 29°F. Saturday's forecast is a mellower blend of partly sunny skies, a slightly higher chance of rain, and temperatures cresting at about 45°F, according to the NWS.
