For those seeking a blend of creative expression and social connection this Valentine's season, the City of Raleigh Museum has crafted an evening that pairs the art of vintage card-making with the warmth of friendship. In a cozy gathering set for February 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., attendees of the Pals & Gals Wine and Vintage Card Making Valentine's Party can look forward to a hands-on crafting experience accompanied by fine wine and chocolates. According to the City of Raleigh website, participants will be provided with all the necessary supplies to create their unique cards, with the added indulgence of chocolates from Videri Chocolate Factory and two glasses of wine to brighten the affair.
Set in the historical backdrop of the City of Raleigh Museum, the event goes beyond the typical Valentine's narrative, focusing on celebrating friendships both longstanding and newly forged. This is an adults-only affair, welcoming individuals aged 21 and up. Attendance comes at a cost of $24 for members and $28 for non-members, an investment into an evening of artistic endeavor and conviviality. It's important to note that ticket prices also include the aforementioned supplies, chocolates, and, naturally, the wine.
