As winter begins to fade, Raleigh's youth sports programs are gearing up for the spring season, offering a variety of athletic options for young participants. The City of Raleigh Athletics Division is launching its spring youth athletics program, which includes softball, baseball, flag football, soccer, and cheerleading for children ages 5 to 17.
According to a release from the City of Raleigh, registration for the program will open on February 1 and run through February 14. The Athletics Program will supply all necessary equipment and uniforms for registered athletes to participate.
The program will be held at various parks throughout the city. Registration can be completed online or at any community center with a City Parks designation. Raleigh residents will pay $51 for registration, while non-residents will be charged $66.
For more information, the Athletics Department can be contacted at 919-996-6836 or by email at [email protected]. The full list of spring sports offerings can be found on the Raleigh Parks Youth Athletics website.
