Last night in Rosedale, firefighters faced a harrowing scene as a mobile home became engulfed in flames, leaving a man with life-threatening injuries and a pet dog needing rescue. In the aftermath, an electrical issue has been pinpointed as the cause of the blaze. As reported by FOX Baltimore, the fire broke out around 8:20 p.m. yesterday, forcing emergency crews to rush to the 1300 block of Evering Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the home ablaze, and during a search of the dwelling, they encountered a man in a bedroom who required immediate evacuation. This man was subsequently transported to a local hospital with injuries that officials described as critical, according to WMAR-2 News.
Investigators from the Baltimore County Police Department believe the fire started due to an electrical malfunction, highlighting the hidden dangers of modern electrical systems.
