An apartment fire in the 200 block of Bicentennial Circle in Sacramento has resulted in damage to multiple units and the discovery of a body, authorities said. The Sacramento Fire Department reported that fire crews arrived on scene to find heavy flames engulfing two upstairs apartments. In total, six units were impacted, suffering from fire, smoke, and water damage.
The incident, which occurred prior to the Sacramento Fire Department's social media update, saw firefighters working to contain the blaze and prevent further destruction. According to a statement from the Sacramento Fire Department, the cause of the fire has been determined as accidental and originated from a kitchen.
