
Local fire crews from the Sacramento area have been deployed to assist with the Palisades Fire. The Sacramento Fire Department announced via social media that a California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) Strike Team has been sent to support firefighting efforts. The team includes members from the Cosumnes Fire Department, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, and Sacramento Fire Department.
According to the social media post, the Strike Team includes 22 personnel who have embarked on their journey during the night with the task of providing critical assistance.
