
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 32-year-old Trevon Lyle on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. The investigation, led by the county's Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau, unearthed multiple instances over a span of time where the victim, whose identity remains protected due to their minor status, was reportedly subject to sexual assault by Lyle.
Following the report, Lyle was detained and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail facing charges that include three counts of Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a minor. This being defined as occurring with a minor who is more than three years younger than the perpetrator, he subsequently posted bond on his $50,000 bail the following day, his release was processed, with a court appearance scheduled for today. A social media post from the Sheriff’s Office highlights a concerning aspect of Lyle's occupation, which is believed to have given him access to potential victims who may not have come forward with their reports.
