The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the community's help in identifying suspects involved in recent vandalism at two Natomas Unified School District schools, officials said. The perpetrators defaced Natomas High School and Discovery High School with bias symbols, an act the department is treating as a serious offense.
On Monday, the authorities took notice of the defacing, which featured symbols associated with prejudice. According to a social media post by the Sacramento Police Department, "These actions are unacceptable and our department takes a firm stance against this type of behavior." The graffiti was located at the respective educational establishments in Natomas.
Residents with any information are asked to come forward and assist local law enforcement in identifying and apprehending the suspects. The Sacramento Police Department is "thoroughly investigating this matter and working very closely with the the Natomas Unified School District and local stakeholders."
