A 29-year-old employee of a San Antonio bingo hall has been arrested on charges related to child indecency, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office confirms. Joseph Uribe was apprehended at his residence last Thursday, and he now faces grave allegations of unethical conduct with a minor.

As detailed by the Sheriff's Office and reported by KSAT, Uribe, who worked at a local bingo establishment, has been accused of sending explicit images to a child via Instagram. Uribe has been booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on a charge of indecency with a child. Further investigation has revealed a more harrowing narrative; not only did Uribe allegedly exploit social media to reach the child, but evidence suggests he traveled to the child's home and pressured her into an unwanted sexual encounter, according to the Sheriff’s office.

"Uribe allegedly contacted a juvenile victim via social media and sent nude photos of himself through Instagram to the female victim," detailed a report by News 4 San Antonio. Upon his arrest, Uribe told deputies he understood the reasons for his arrest and declined to comment further. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information regarding other potential assaults by Uribe, or any related incidents to come forward.
