San José Police Department officers made significant arrests in a combined operation targeting the illegal sale of firearms and narcotics. In action following a sting operation intercepting a fentanyl sale in San José, authorities were led to Justin Dixon, a suspect believed to be shuttling contraband between Stockton and San Francisco for sale.
Dixon's girlfriend, Jade Linhthasack, has been identified as the source of several illegal firearms provided to Dixon, a man legally barred from possessing them. SJPD Street Crimes Unit gained warrants for Dixon's arrest and Linhthasack's search, and they enlisted the help of other law enforcement bodies in Stockton for the operation last Thursday.
Coordinated efforts between SJPD, Stockton Police Department SWAT Team, Covert Operations Unit, and Gang Violence Suppression Unit culminated in the arrests of Dixon and Linhthasack, booked into the San Joaquin County Main Jail. According to the San José Police Department, the charges for Dixon included possession of illegal firearms and narcotics sales, while Linhthasack faced charges related to illegal firearms.
Additionally, the search warrants resulted in the seizure of thirteen illegal firearms, including a semi-automatic pistol, an assault rifle, an additional modified rifle, and various ammunition approximating 5,000 rounds. Investigators found that two of the firearms were stolen, two had destroyed serial numbers, and two were unregistered. Among the confiscated narcotics were substantial amounts of cocaine, oxycodone, promethazine, and cannabis. The operation also uncovered items such as designer clothing and accessories, alongside valuable jewelry, believed to be procured with proceeds from these illicit activities.
