The Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL) of Seattle has unveiled a sneak peek at its 2025 funding initiatives targeted at boosting kindergarten readiness. With a staunch commitment to transforming lives through strategic investments in education, DEEL continues to uphold its vision for a city where children, youth, and families from all walks of life have equitable access to high-quality educational services and outcomes, as posted on the City of Seattle's website.
Among the forthcoming grants, the Prenatal-to-Three Community Grant Program is set to cut the ribbon in March 2025, specifically carving out opportunities for community-based organizations. These groups, notably those which resonate deeply with and mirror the communities they service, are encouraged to get their proposals ready. Another notch on DEEL's funding belt, the Seattle Preschool Program Provider Facilities Fund is slated for a May 2025 release, opening its doors to current Seattle Preschool Program and Pathway providers, aiming to support their facility needs.
