Authorities say the 60-year-old driver of the 2017 Chevy truck failed to maintain a safe distance, subsequently slamming into the back of the bus that was stopped to pick up passengers. The exact number of injured passengers has not been disclosed, but the injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening. Police cited the driver, whose name has not been released, and the damaged vehicle was towed from the scene to undergo further investigation. No fatalities were reported as a result of the crash.
