In a recent operation by the Sonoma Sheriff's Narcotics Unit, a drug house on Mountain Avenue has been raided, resulting in multiple arrests and seizures of firearms and narcotics. The operation, which took place yesterday, directly responded to numerous community complaints. As detailed in a social media post by the Sonoma Sheriff's Office, a search warrant was executed, with detectives and patrol deputies detaining several individuals at the scene.
Amongst those arrested were 58-year-old Michael Armstrong and 56-year-old Jacqueline Armstrong, both from Santa Rosa, who faced charges of prohibited possession of firearms and fentanyl-related offenses. Michael Armstrong was freed after posting bail, an uncommon occurrence in these situations. Similarly, Jacqueline Armstrong secured her release following the payment of bail. Meanwhile, 67-year-old Steven Finch remains in custody on a no-bail hold after being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a short-barreled shotgun, and additional fentanyl concealed on his person while entering a detention facility.
"The safety of our community in Sonoma County is not just a top priority but a commitment that we, the Sheriff's Office, take seriously," the Sheriff's Office stated.
