
Yesterday, a report emerged from the St. Louis Police concerning an incident involving gunfire in a residential neighborhood. Officers responded to a call on the 4500 block of Ray where they encountered a 35-year-old man, who has now been taken into custody after admitting to firing a gun into a home. According to the social media post from the St. Louis, MO Police Department, the weapon involved in the incident has also been seized.

Following the arrest, the Circuit Attorney's Office moved promptly, issuing charges against the man for Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. While firing the weapon, fortunately, no injuries have been reported thus far from the chaotic scene that law enforcement were called to. Details about what motivated the man to discharge the firearm or if any particular residence was targeted are not currently disclosed.
