A Sterling Heights man has been taken into custody as part of a crackdown on a suspected drug operation spanning multiple locations in Macomb County. On Wednesday, multi-agency efforts led to the execution of search warrants and the arrest of 39-year-old John Gramlich, ClickOnDetroit reports.

According to a Macomb County Sheriff's Office Facebook post, the locations raided by deputies included the 14000 block of Maisano Drive in Sterling Heights, the 20000 block of East 9 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores, and the 24000 block of Murray Street in Harrison Township. They announced the news on social media following the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), along with units from the DEA and other local enforcement bodies took part in the bust.

During the operation, authorities seized an assortment of contraband and weapons. Approximately 290 grams of cocaine, around 10 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and more than $4,000 in cash were taken. Additionally, law enforcement confiscated multiple firearms, including pistols, rifles, and shotguns, along with boxes of ammunition, and several extended magazines. A Chevy Silverado pickup truck was also impounded during the bust.

Gramlich, who is presently housed at the Macomb County Jail, was arraigned in the 41-A District Court on Friday morning. His charges are serious and include maintaining a drug house, possessing drugs with intent to deliver or manufacture, concealing firearms, and a slew of other felony and misdemeanor counts. The court set his bond at $25,000 cash/surety, with a GPS tether mandated upon release, according to ClickOnDetroit.
