An 11-year-old boy was found dead in a trailer at Lovey's Landing, a Sutter County RV park, leading to the arrest of a woman identified as Megan Dixon, age 44, according to local authorities. The Sutter County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Sunday morning concerning a woman reportedly under the influence of narcotics and creating a disturbance. Upon arrival around 10 a.m., deputies discovered the deceased boy alongside a dead dog inside the trailer. As reported by CBS Sacramento, Dixon has been charged with child endangerment and homicide, although her relationship with the victim has yet to be confirmed by law enforcement.
