A man was arrested at Busch Gardens in Tampa on charges of digital voyeurism after allegedly recording a minor in a bathroom stall. The incident, which took place on New Year's Day, involved two minors, Tampa police reported. WFLA detailed that one of the minors noticed 42-year-old George Graham filming over the top of an adjacent stall and promptly informed an adult.
According to Tampa police, the adult alerted an off-duty police officer who was working at the amusement park. After apprehending Graham, he was jailed and faces one count of felony digital voyeurism. FOX 13 News conveyed that the ongoing case now places Graham behind bars for his actions, pending further legal proceedings.
Further details provided by ABC Action News confirmed that the second minor, being in the same bathroom as the victim, became the one who first observed the crime. While using the restroom, the minor saw Graham recording and took action to report the invasion of privacy.
The rapid response of the adult and off-duty Tampa police officer ensured Graham's prompt arrest on the spot. The incident raises concerns about safety and privacy in areas designed for public convenience. No further information regarding the victim has been disclosed, considering the sensitive nature of the crime and the victim's age.
