Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sent over 400 state troops, along with C-130s and Chinook helicopters, to support Border Patrol in efforts to reduce illegal immigration.The troops, part of the new Texas Tactical Border Force, will support Operation Lone Star, a state-led mission launched in 2021 in response to the Biden administration's immigration policies, as reported by Click2Houston.

President Trump’s immigration measures have advanced with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirming, "Deportation flights have begun," and stating, "President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences." Texas has provided a ranch in Starr County for deportation efforts, supported by military personnel.
