The Western District detectives have apprehended three suspects in connection with a shooting incident that took place last November, pinpointing a violent episode that punctured the night in one of our city's struggling corridors, as per the Baltimore Police Department's announcement made early this morning.
Digging through the layers of the event that sent a 20-year-old male to the hospital with gunshot wounds, the police have laid charges on 19-year-old Keon Brooks, 22-year-old Donte Mack, and 18-year-old Justin Griggs yesterday. They were charged with attempted first-degree murder after detectives arrested them, and they were whisked away to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
The investigation, which peeled back the details of the late-night violence, identified the trio in association with the shooting at the 2300 block of West North Avenue, where initially, on November 25, 2024, Western District patrol officers found a crime scene after a report drew them to an area hospital, detailing the situation as they found the victim, alive but marked by the violence that had been wrought upon him.
