A postal worker's routine was interrupted by a threat from a gunman in Tomball, Texas. Yesterday, a USPS letter carrier was forced to surrender a mail key—an item that, under normal circumstances, simply grants access to everyday mail.
According to FOX 26 Houston, the robbery took place in the 19400 block of Sandy Woods Drive. The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office was called to what was labeled an aggravated robbery. Despite the seriousness of the crime, details about the suspect remain scarce, with no description of the perpetrator or the escape vehicle provided in the initial reports.
Neither authorities nor the Click2Houston report provided information on the postal worker’s condition, authorities reported that the suspect fled on foot toward Bremar Village Drive. The thief was described as wearing a black mask, a puffy jacket, and blue jeans. Fortunately, the constable’s office confirmed that "no one was hurt in the robbery."
