According to WFLA, a 25-year-old man from New Port Richey was riding his motorcycle southbound when an 18-year-old from Port Richey attempted to cross the street, just north of Embassy Road. The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the pedestrian walked in front of the motorcycle, subsequently, was struck. Both the motorcyclist and the pedestrian were transported to a nearby hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
