Following a deep investigation into a drive-by shooting incident from 2023 in Gig Harbor, police have made two arrests. FOX 13 Seattle reported that the shooting took place on June 6, 2023, when a young girl and her brother were chased and shot at by individuals in two separate vehicles.

According to details by Gig Harbor Now, the suspects, Rocco Anthony Fanara and Demondrae Jones, have been charged with two counts of first-degree assault and one count of drive-by shooting. Held on $500,000 bail in the Pierce County Jail, neither of the suspects had previously been tarnished by a criminal record, the court documents revealed.

During what emerged as a retaliatory strike linked to a 2021 murder in Kitsap County, both suspects participated in the shooting. "During a police interview, Jones initially denied his involvement but ultimately acknowledged that he was a passenger in the other car and that he had fired three shots during the interaction," said an official in a statement obtained by KING 5. Despite the severity of the charges, both Fanara and Jones have pleaded not guilty.
