On Sunday, the Vallejo Police Department responded to a violent incident that shook the residential streets of Vallejo. At around 8:30 p.m., multiple reports of gunfire were received near Mark Avenue and Sawyer Street. A juvenile, whose identity was concealed, was admitted to a nearby hospital's emergency department with gunshot wounds and in critical condition.
Initial investigations at the 300 block of Sawyer Street yielded some evidence and witness observations, according to a social media post from the Vallejo Police Department. Suspects are still at large, and the local authorities remain quiet on the potential motives, though they urge anyone with information to step forward.
